The RubeGoldberg of class 8 trucks, fashioned by Ford from their successful C Series, these became known as the 2 story Ford Falcon. My first ever ride in a class 8 truck was in one of these, with my uncle, who happened to work at O'Shea Rogers Ford in 1964. He thought they were the bees knees. Their actual reputation was a rough riding, hard steering, and hard shifting awful truck. I always thought they were the meanest looking trucks on the road, they always looked like they were mad. They were often high powered, with many coming equipped with Cat 1693 engines, which in the 1960's pretty much outran everything on the highway.
