International is a storied manufacturer of medium & heavy duty trucks. The emeryvilles are legendary cornbinders, and have been cussed and admired by drivers and mechanics the world over. I remember the City Of Tacoma Refuse having 2 of these setup for drag-ons, that I spent many a night battling to get ready for the next morning. As I recall, one had a 6-71 Detroit, and the other one had a Formula 290 Cummins. I loved delivering the Detroit back to the dump in the wee hours of the morning, because it had a straight stack, and you could really hear it cackle off those hillsides at 2AM...
