lol who looks at the config files anymore? I mean, let's be real. People only want content to use. They don't really care who made it, or where it's from. Just so long they see it, they want it... Even if it's payware or private. That's how gimme pigs are made. Don't get me wrong, there is a difference between wondering where content came from, and just directly asking... Well, BEGGING for it, but I digress. You know, for the longest time ever since I started out with my crappy MS Paint 'reskins', people have asked me for my Amtrak content. I always intended to make some for release, hence why I made these Amtrak packs. We've been sorely lacking in Amtrak content since the very beginning days of Trainz, and I figured I'd make achange. Of course, it's impractical to model *every single* car Amtrak owned and operated, not without a lot of time and effort, which I don't exactly have. I have commissioned a few custom cars, but that's also not an option since I also don't have the money for every single unique car, and plus I doubt anyone has the time on their hands to model every single car in the heritage fleet. So, that's where these reskins come in. So far the first packs have been met with mostly positive reception... However, there are complaints about the models I used, one going as far out of his way to say that the 'paintshed windows' sucked and that I should use newer models or something like that? Well, I just smile and say, 'well, one of the big groups used the exact same cars and I don't see anyone complaining, so what's the difference?' On top of that, if you're not satisfied with the work and effort I put into making this, then why not go model them yourself? I mean, I know you're a member of [REDACTED], so why not take matters into your own hands? Oh well, there'll always be the ones who complain and do nothing to fix the situation. I'll just continue making these reskins until I am satisfied. Or I run out of cars. Whichever comes first. At least I'm not a part of those big groups... They sound like total nut jobs. Sure, they make some great content, but nothing is better than stuff made from the heart and soul and you have the most fun making it. And tbh, I think I have more fun making these on my own. It helps me learn and improve, plus Ryan can't pull anymore BS on me if I do the rest by myself. So, reader, if you've made it this far, I just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to find this obscure message that will most likely never be seen. If you want, my email is [email protected], email me the codeword [Cenn Pentral] and I'll let you beta test my upcoming Phase III reskins I've been working on since 2017. Anyway, hope you enjoy this pack!
