Originally built for the cancelled C&O 'Chessie', they were bought by D&RGW for their Royal Gorge after many of the cars were sold. Thing is, the Rio Grande didn't like observation cars because it was too much work to switch them around on return trios at terminuses. So, they... Modified it into a mid-train lounge, similar to what SCL had. The result is this creation so unholy that I literally commissioned it just to troll someone who hates it with a passion in a Discord server I am in. Plus, it's interesting and I like it, Amtrak got one via Auto-Liner Corp, so why the Hell not? More Amtrak content for us!
