VR N 453 loco 09

The N class first saw sevice in 1925.
After WW II fifty N class locomotives were ordered from the North British Locomotive Co and delivered in 1950-51.
Because of dieselisation all were withdrwn by 1966.
Apparantly N 453 was fitted with the smaller Newport deflectors at some time in its life, as I have a photo of it
in that guise. I don't know if any of the others were similarly fitted.
