Loch Katrine Pier Branch

Purely fictitious branch of the Callander & Oban to serve Loch Katrine Pier in expectations of great tourist interest.
Set in early 60s when Beeching's axe was already up,
With its tight curvature, short but severe gradients (1 in 50 near Brig O'Turk) and single track throughout it is quite similar to the West Highland Railway's Mallaig Extension, though much shorter (8 miles 35 chains...)
Worked under 'single engine in steam' principle, with former signalboxes & lineside signals no longer used (except those worked by Loch Katrine ground frame. All goods facilities are already abandoned and passenger stations reduced to minimum.
A tank engine (eg. BR Standard Class 4MT, likely no. 80125) from Stirling shed will normally be seen here, but any engine with RA7 (eg. LMS Class 5MT - standard performer on Callander & Oban) could be used. Tender engines would have to return tender-first as far as Dunblane, since the turntable at Loch Katrine Pier is out of operational use. This branch would also be suitable for railbus service.
Made as an exercise in virtual railway building before tackling the ultimate challenge: Glasgow & North Western...
