Isle of Wudby

The Isle of Wudby is a Fictional or Free Lanced Real Scale British Railroad.
The Railroad was originally commisioned in 1905 as the North Eastern Scotland Railway, the original plan involved connecting 5 different Islands in the chain Islands off the coast of northern Scotland.
In 1910 the railroad got as far as Cathemerat before having to conquer one obsticle in the way, the Wudby Mountain. The Railroad had to climb a 2.6% grade past Montigue (near the present day tunnel) and made it to Leythenathe before they gave up on their attempt to cross the Island to the port of Wudby (present day Saint Joeseph) which needed the railroad, so the railroad settled down to carry tourist, fish, and medical supplies to the locals, but much more revenue was needed to keep the line viable, so in 1949 British Railroads took over the route and built a long tunnel, which is what the original owner wanted to build, however they only got as far as Saint Joeseph before they too gave up on connecting the north islands, they felt that ferry boats were less expensive than a 7 mile bridge to nearby Lodame Island. Set in the Year 1979, it's sure to be good practice for British Diesels. The Main Line Goes from Galebrook to Saint Joeseph with a branchline that goes from Huckle (Near Montigue) to Leythenathe.
