SAR 710 Class locomotive

The 710 class were built by the Islington Railway Workshops between 1928 - 1929 as a modified version of the Armstrong Whitworth built 700 class locomotives. The class consisted of locomotives 710 - 719.
Coal shortages after World War II saw a number converted to burn oil. All were later converted back to coal burners.
The first two were withdrawn in July 1961 with the remainder replaced as 830 diesel locomotives entered service. The last was withdrawn in September 1967. None were preserved.

Disclaimer: While this asset is trainz-build 3.7 (TRS12 SP1), it was tested in TRS22 and uses features which may not work or look the best in previous versions (including the native Automatic Running Numbers system introduced in TANE, and the m.tbumpenv textures designed to look best in TRS19 and up.)
