Commentaires: Prélevée sur la série des BB 15000, la BB 10004, issue donc de la transformation de la BB 15055, est un engin prototype unique
et monocourant qui a préfiguré la venue des TGV Atlantique en expérimentant une nouvelle chaîne de traction synchrone autopilotée. Pour
aider à la conception des Z 20500, la 10004 a ensuite reçu une motorisation asynchrone. À noter que les BB 20011 et 20012 ont servi à
élaborer une motorisation synchrone mais appliquée quant à elle aux BB 26000. La livrée de ces trois motrices prototypes avec un bleu
marine dominant était pratiquement similaire si l'on excepte la forme du liseré orange sur leurs flancs. Cette motrice a été remise au type
BB 15000 depuis par les ateliers d'Hellemmes en 1997.

Localisation: Devenue BB 15055 au lieu de BB 10004.
