ATSF KC TO EMPORIA & HOWARD BRANCH REDONE

This is all redone route. The track is all changed and using no ballast I am able to paint between the rails to show oil, dirt, and such. I put in grass splines and a lot of attention to detail to make it look as close to real as I could. I actually did so many changes that some parts look totally different than the first route. Kansas City has been a area mostly the West Bottoms of 100's of hours. Now I did not think about how big this Route was getting. It is 634 megabytes but able to put on a CDP file.

Items not on the DLS,
Jointed Rail, all the city buildings. JR Generic Brick Industry. I took so long getting this route redone that Trainboi1 put a lot of stuff on the download station from Trainz Forge. The
34ft Flatcar FERC 1920s by Trainboi1 can have 16 general goods and a variety of other loads. I removed the letters FERC for my own use. Using paint.net so it fits in just fine with the other freight cars. Trainboi1 does not allow reskins on the DLS. All the Steam Engines and Tenders are from Bdaneal on the DLS. I do not use the Oil type tenders, I like the Coal better. The 4-4-2 ATSF 507 is on the web sight https://nictrain123.wixsite.com/the-roundhouse/steam-locomotives. This Steam Loco will do 70 mph pulling 3 passenger cars! the speed limit is 60 on the Howard Branch and the Emporia to KC. If there is something I missed you can get a hold of me at my e-mail address for questions. I do not get on the Trainz forums very often. So my mail is d-barnard@sbcglobal.net, I tried Gmail accounts and didn't like the everything being on line and the hassle of having to sign in. I have had this E-Mail since we had Dialup on the phone line. As a long time Customer I was able to keep the Email Address given to me back in 1998.

Sessions,

I have written sessions on .txt files that are located in the Route Folder, Not the session folder and can be accessed from Content Manager by choosing the (open and then Show in Explorer) . I have a printer for my Computer Tower most people have. and I Printed all the Sessions and I keep them in a folder in a file cabinet.
I try to have a large variety of sessions to keep myself from getting board. I am in hopes that this new way of having sessions is ok. It sure works for me! I have to do a lot of thinking when making up a train. The cars at the end of the train are the first to be dropped off for instance. I do not use car numbers, I go by car contents and customer location. Customer needs for instance 120 canned goods I pull out of the local yard boxcars with that item and usually 40 for each car so that would be 3 boxcars required. I am not into the automatic trainz stuff, I enjoy driving my own Engine and paying attention to all the switches and Signals that me keep alert. What I do like about trainz22 is tools for building a route. This is just my opinion, this route I have made screams to have multiplayers but I have no idea about all that Technology or how to use it. If someone would like to do that then I say go ahead and have fun!. I use to play Microsoft Trains and this trainz22 just blows me away with all the advancements since windows XP. You will want to try the session instructions for the Wheat Harvest from Emporia to the Argentine Kansas Elevator!. 100 some boxcars loaded with grain!

ABOUT THE ROUTE

ATSF KC to Emporia and Howard Branch Redone. This Santa FE Route is placed in 1928 and through 1935. ATSF in Emporia Kansas rebuilt the entire Yards and Engine Roundhouse in 1928. This route is on the La Junta Colorado Subdivision. Part of the Route from Chicago to California. 1934 was the Map I used for Shawnee Kansas for the Kansas City Argentine Yard for that time. The Argentine Yard had a passenger car yard for making up Passenger trains that would be moved to Kansas City Union Station to be Boarded.

I made the 2 maps separate and joined them together to make the real distance shorter from Kansas City to Emporia for the Game. The Tracks between the City's are 2 track 1 east and 1 west bound. Both Yards are full scale and you can hav
