Coke Ovens_stand alone
An interactive industry that converts coal into coke and coking gas.
This asset has been created as a part of a collection which covers the operations of a gas works.
A series of animations, triggered by embedded events files, allows the observation of plant operations in real-life order.
Coal is unloaded from rail wagons to a coal raiser which feeds the coal to the ovens coal tower via a scoop conveyor belt.
Coal gas is offerred for use by the coking ovens'script sending a message. Output coke is loaded into rail wagons from a conveyor belt.
Optionally, coking gas and liquor by-products processing may be added - see assets 'LiquidsLoader' <kuid:368725:25000> and 'FertilizerPlant' <kuid:368725:25001>.
To enable the successful exchange of messages between the coke oven battery, a liquids loading platform and an ammonium sulphate fertilizer plant, a strict naming convention must be followed.
Each set of oven battery, liquids loader and fertilizer plant must be given a unique name that you specify by using Edit Properties in Surveyor.
The unique names consist of 3 parts separated by a blank spaces: a unique ID prefix and an asset-type ID. The ID is a name you give to a set. The asset-type ID is either 'CokeOvens', 'LiquidsLoader' or 'FertilizerPlant'.
For example, if the set name is 'Birchenwood' and the asset type is 'CokeOvens', the unique name to enter is 'Birchenwood CokeOvens'.
This asset is compatible with the Shedmaster rule <kuid:160293:10060>. Compatability must be set using Edit Properties in Surveyor.
