Today is a great day for railfans along the MidCen route. A special run of the recently renovated SantaFe Super Chief will be passing thru, stopping along the way for excursion passengers and photos.

Once the epitomy of deluxe rail transportation, the Super Chief represents the Golden Age of American passenger railroading. Word has it that when Amtrak took over passenger trains in the U.S., the level of service was so reduced that SantaFe requested the name be changed. It was, to the Southwest Chief, a name Amtrak trains 3 and 4 bear today as they operate between Chicago and Los Angeles.

In this session, your job is to take over #18, located near the Westfield portals. Operate the train east, stopping at Caldwell, Garfield and Huntersville, then exit the route through the East Shelton portals. This is a class 1 train, so you will have superiority over all the extras. Good luck!
