CLMW Lightweight Coach - 1971

Lightweight cars make up the backbone of rail passenger service in the United States. The CLMW was no stranger to this type of railroad car, and this particular type is a coach car, suitable for both commuter and long distance trains. The paint scheme featured on this car is the paint CLMW was using right before the 1971 Amtrak takeover of long distance trains, however the scheme has not changed since then and as such would look at home behind the CLMW freight diesel electrics of today. The coach cars used by the CLMW at the time were capable of seating 44 passengers with two toilets located opposite the end with the door.
