Andrews L-Section Truck Oxide

The earliest Andrews trucks were constructed with L-shaped cross sections on the lower portion of the cast side frame. These were introduced in the 1900s built into the 1910s before being supplanted by the later Andrews design which used a U-shaped cross section. This example is painted oxide red.
