QR 1270 Class.

30 of these 90t locos were built 1964-1967.
They were used initially for suburban passenger and heavy freight services
and then on the Central line coal haulage. All were withdrawn in the late 1980s.
Blue 1270 and and gold 1281, Century, are preserved by QR.
