NCTD Coaster SC-44 Charger

For over 25 years, North County Transit District has operated the Coaster service between Oceanside and San Diego on the former ATSF Surfline. The trains are typically 5-car sets of Bombardier Bi-Levels. In 2020, the old F40PHM-2C units, #2101-2105, were replaced by new Siemens SC-44 Chargers #5001-5005. Four more Chargers, #5006-5009, were delivered in 2023.

DLS package contains: Siemens SC-44 Charger in Phase II blue/teal/white Coaster livery
Sounds: Cummins QSK95 four-stroke diesel engine, Nathan K5LA 5-chime airhorn and Graham White electronic bell
