Evening Trip Workings

Normally, the trip workings on Dalin Island are handled during the evening, as to not risk impeeding the passenger traffic to Seaside Heights, which will run regular services during these summer months. Most of that is tourist traffic, and this is split between a Pullman service and an autocoach service. However, the freight traffic is relatively heavy. Tonight, those workings are being run with an ex-SECR R1, due to issues with the ex-LNER Class O7. The R1 is currently in Berwick Yard. There is a train of empty hoppers in the loop at Seaside Heights. Collect a brakevan and take the hoppers to Dalin. At Dalin, put the hoppers and brakevan in the loop for the car ferry. Go turn your engine, and wait for the switcher to put the loaded vans in the goods yard. Once the switcher clears, take the loaded vans to Dalton Farm and collect the loaded cattle wagons. By this point, you will proceed to Seaside Heights, and leave the loaded cars in the loop. Then, assemble the empty cars and return to Dalin, dropping off the empty cattle wagons at Dalton Farm along the way. Run light to Donlin Quay to collect the three vans and the milk tanks. Take them to Seaside Heights, and put them in the goods yard. Go to Berwick yard to collect the loaded wagons and the steam crane before taking them to the empty yard at Dalin, as they will be needed in the morning for ongoing track renewal. Once that is complete, take the R1 to the shops at Berwick, and park it in the auxilary shed with the spare Fowler 2Ps before calling it a night.
